Students in Pennsylvania need your support on SB 1100 authored by Senator Doug Mastriano. This strong BIPARTISAN bill would FINALLY mandate Holocaust education in PA, but, once again, the powers that be are trying to water it down!! (Deja vu from 10 years ago!)
Please call or email Senator Joe Pittman AND Senator David G. Argall (contact info below) and urge them to keep the IHRA definition of antisemitism in the bill and to move SB 1100 toward passage! An education bill must educate, and without the IHRA definition, the term “antisemitism” could be inappropriately and incorrectly defined, defeating the purpose of the bill. Please call or email them NOW and urge them to pass SB 1100 as it is written!
